Koftedes (Greek meatballs)

  • ½ lb of minced pork
  • Parsley
  • ½ onion
  • ½ a teaspoonful of cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 3 medium potatoes grated
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper

Grate the uncooked potatoes and squeeze the liquid out, chop the parsley and onion. Mix all ingredients together and leave to rest for 30 mins

Now turn these into meatball shapes and fry in hot oil until golden brown, you can serve with salad or whatever you fancy.
