Ingredients

  • 1lb Coconut
  • 1 tin Condensed Milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • Red food colouring

Method

Mix the coconut and condensed milk together and preferably leave overnight in the fridge. Roll your coconut mixture into separate little balls and place to one side. Now grab 2 cups of sugar and a teaspoon of red food colouring and place on a low heat until everything is melted.

Roll your coconut balls in the melted sugar (caramel) and place on a plate. It helps to use a toothpick at this point as the sugar will be extremely hot, and leave each of your coated coconut balls to cool down.
