Bacon Quiche

Ingredients

  • 1pk short rust pastry
  • Olive oil
  • 6 Rashes of Bacon chopped
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cartoon full cream ( small)
  • 100mls milk
  • 1 onion
  • 2 gloves garlic
  • Grated cheese 8ozs

Method

1. Fry onion and garlic in olive oil, once translucent, add the bacon.  I also added some mushrooms, place everything to one side when done.

2. In a bowl beat eggs, add grated cheese and cream and mix in the the fried ingredients above, onion, garlic, bacon and mushrooms, mix well. Season with some salt and pepper.

3. Line an oven dish with pastry and pour your mixture over. Place in the oven for about 45 mins or until you see your mixture is golden brown at 200C
